    These guys are amazing. My father was in the hospital for 95 days and ended up coming home early. He desperately needed a railing for the front steps to get in and out even though he could barely walk. Not only was it well constructed, and beautiful gloss black (I will post pictures) but he even put a side gate in after I mistakenly told him I didn’t need one. Wonderful people that do wonderful work. (He also was booked for a month but made time for me just because he knew I needed it for my father). A+++

    Hey folks, if you’re looking for the absolute best quality of ANY type of masonry and stonework, any size, any shape, ANY BUDGET!?! Look no further than Stanley Hardscapes! I have an insanely busy life like most of you, so I’m not a big “reviewer” - but this means something to me and hope it will help you make your decision. Jake and his crew took on 2 massive projects for my wife and I - a basketball court and large patio to replace a rotting deck. Jake was open, honest and overly communicative from our first meeting. He was on the job almost every single day as a leader AND worker. He’s been in the family business since he learned to walk so has infinite knowledge of all materials to meet your wants, needs and budget. He built a beautiful stone retaining wall around our court, brought a 6’ pitch to grade and arranged for a truck to pour and rake cement for the court’s concrete base.     S&A Masonry built out a patio for us and also installed drains along the side of the house in order to divert water from the house. Overall, pleased with the quality of the work. I dealt with Jake and Sam. The price was fair and Jake and Sam were responsive and communicative. I thought work was of high quality. During the installation of a drain, we discovered one of the pipes that would carry water away was clogged and would need to be replaced. This was not in the original scope of work so this involved more effort and added expense for us. The additional expense was reasonable - you can trust them not to charge an unreasonable rate when there is additional, unexpected work. A positive experience and our patio greatly enhances our outdoor space.

    I had a very good experience working with Stanley Hardscapes. They were professional and did a wonderful job replacing my brick stoop and stairs and adding granite edging around the stairs. They also put in a new brick walkway and edged it with belgium blocks. I am very particular about how my stoop and walkway looks because it edges my front garden and they took extra care around my garden. What Jake and his crew did exceeded my expectations and i am very happy with the end result. I interviewed 5 masonry contractors and i would choose Stanley Hardscapes again because they do beautiful work. You will not be disappointed working with Jake and his crew.

    Our Process
    Edges Preparation
    We use a power edger to trim and remove any grass or dirt along the edges of your driveway or parking lot, allowing us to seal up to the very edge of the pavement for a clean finished look.
    Cleaning
    Thorough cleaning is essential to ensure the pavement sealer adheres correctly. We use top-of-the-line equipment, such as walk-behind blowers, rotary brooms, turbine blowers, and sweepers, to clean your parking lot thoroughly.
    Crack Repair
    Linear cracks are blown out with 185 CFM compressed air and filled with a hot, rubberized crack filler designed to expand and contract with your pavement through freeze/thaw cycles.
    Pedestrian Safety
    To ensure safety, we close off the area to be sealed with cones, cone bars, barricades, and caution tape. It is the property owner's responsibility to notify all relevant people of our work ahead of time.
    Seal Coat
    We apply two coats of sealer using a hand-brushed application. Our hand-crushed method reduces any possibility of overs application. We do not spray as this can cause over-application on walkways, curbs, or buildings. Finally, all roadway ends are given a clean, straight end for a professional look.
